About Casey
Eight Twenty-Eight Consulting began in December 2022—not as a business plan, but as a calling. I felt led to create something bigger than myself, something rooted in service, guided by faith, and built to help others succeed.
The name Eight Twenty-Eight came to me in a way I can only describe as divine—spoken like a whisper I couldn’t ignore. It’s based on my favorite Bible verse, Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” As it turns out, 828 is also the area code of my hometown in western North Carolina—a beautiful confirmation of where I come from and who I’m called to serve.
The mountain imagery throughout this brand isn’t just aesthetic. It reflects my roots, my values, and the steady, upward climb of building something meaningful through hard work, clarity, and faith. Eight Twenty-Eight was founded on the belief that with the right support, businesses can not only grow, but grow with purpose.
I reside in beautiful Savannah, GA with my two mini-aussiedoodles, Skye and Enzo. They're the real stars of the business, frequently spotted in the background of my videos/meetings/podcasts. They have been labeled as the smartest dogs in supply chain with how much of the business they listen to! We love to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather, often spotted walking or exploring parks in the area.
When I'm not working alongside the kiddos, you can usually find me at the gym. Fitness has always been a huge passion of mine, and I work out twice a day. I hit weights in the morning at 4:30am, and then cardio in the afternoons. But don't worry, my laptop is usually right alongside me for my cardio session because I wouldn't be a supply chain professional if I wasn't multi-tasking!
I also enjoy serving in my community. Active in my church and community group, I strive to serve the community I live in. Giving back is a core part of who I am - it's how I live out my faith and stay connected to the community around me.
I also enjoy baking, hanging out at the pool, relaxing at the beach, or watching sports (Go Heels!).
Everything I do, both professionally and personally, are rooted in faith and guided by a servant's heart.
